Hello, I'm Michelle Cambi (She/Her/Ella) and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Art Therapist. I received my Master's Degree in Creative Arts Therapy from Pratt Institute in New York. On my downtime I enjoy hiking, yoga, reading the latest thriller or fantasy book, volleyball, and paddleboarding! Pretty much anything outside and active!
I love working with...
preteens (10-12), teenagers (13-17), young adults (18-28), and adults (18+) that face issues such as anxiety, depression, transitional phases of life, anger, grief, chronic illness, and military families/spouses.
Some of my favorite approaches include...
Art Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Narrative Therapy, DBT, & CBT. I strive to incorporate a client-centered approach with a trauma-informed lens for all my clients.
How I help...
I believe in meeting each person where they are at. I enjoy walking alongside folks on their healing journey and seeing the lightbulbs go off!
I believe...
...in walking alongside folks through their journey. That each person is unique and worthy of healing.
What it's like in session with me...
I will bring my silliness in the room with me and I will push you past your comfort zone. My goal is to provide a welcoming and safe space for each person to feel empowered to tackle the obstacales in their current path.
